Twenty one Singing Humanists came together on 30 June 2013 to launch a new Humanist Choir. Three others who could not make the meeting have also expressed interest.
Sophie Turner spoke about the BHA Choir of which she is the chair. The NWH Choir music director Karl Kramer then led a fun singing workshop including a rendering of Monty Python's ‘All things Dull and Ugly' to the time of 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'.
The first organising meeting is on 14 July in Farnsworth.

‘What the world most needs at this moment is a means of convincing human beings to embrace the whole of the species as their moral community. For this we need to develop an utterly
non-sectarian way of talking about the full spectrum of human experience and human aspiration. We need a discourse on ethics and spirituality that is every bit as unconstrained by dogma
and cultural prejudice as the discourse of science is’ . Sam Harris
